Our Forefathers failed to put specific protections into the Constitution to protect the very women who populated this Great Nation.

Perhaps many abused their own wife's, who was powerless to vote at the time and was considered slave-like property.

President Obama can right this decades old wrong with a Bill creating The National Watch list For Convicted Abusers of Women. Such Petition is much like the National Watch list For Child Molesters, with the information already in the public domain.

Each state would be responsible for maintaining such a list, so that women in one state could search the list to find an abuser who lived elsewhere.

A National Watch list For Convicted Abusers Of Women would be a most powerful weapon for the woman abused today. She can now face her abuser with the simple truth that any future abuse would place his name on the List seen by his peers.

Women in America are the Statue of Liberty of women the world over, and this Petition will help stop their abuse in their own homes
