Saw him back in "72" with Jay and the Americans, Jay was ill and Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge did the entire show for 2 full hours, what a voice. Also saw him in 2009 at Mohegan Sun. Dynamite voice and he's sorely missed by many. |

Johnny should have been put in the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame years ago ~ it's a shame that he's not in it ~ there will never be another Johnny Maestro he had one of the most amazing voices ever ~ there wasn't a song he couldn't sing ~ in fact I have loved his versions of several songs that were originally done by other singers ~ He needs to be inducted!!!!! |

Quote from the R&RHOF Foundation: "We shall consider factors such as an artist’s musical influence on other artists, length and depth of career and the body of work, innovation and superiority in style and technique, but musical excellence shall be the essential qualification for induction." Johnny qualifies on every count. His pioneering vocal group harmony with the integrated Crests was innovative and groundbreaking. His exceptional tenor voice was beyond compare. His musical excellence lasted throughout a 53-year career. |

This has been more than a continued oversight, and we need to correct this NOW! It is a shame that a performer with Johnny Maestro's talent, integrity, and impact on American music for 5 decades has been ignored by the HOF. You have my signature on this petition as one of his lifelong fans. |
